Bradrie was founded in the Chanjah valley, where our school and dispensary are based. Today our support extends to needy families in neighboring villages — and across Pakistan, wherever the need is greatest.
Tucked in the foothills near Havelian, Chanjah is where Bradrie was born — home of our school and dispensary, and the base from which our work now reaches families far beyond.
Our school and dispensary are based in the Chanjah valley — but the families we support live in neighboring villages and across Pakistan. From medical assistance to scholarships for higher education through Allama Iqbal Open University, Bradrie goes where the need is greatest.

Chanjah lies in the foothills of northern Pakistan, in a valley that for generations was hard to reach. There was no clinic. No high school for girls. The trip to the city took half a day, on foot or by jeep through unpaved tracks.
Bradrie's work began here in 2000 — because this is where the gap was greatest. From this valley, our reach has grown to support needy families across Pakistan.

A road Bradrie helped build cut the journey to Islamabad from three hours to one, and to Havelian from two hours to fifty minutes.
For the people of Chanjah, the road wasn't just infrastructure — it was access. To hospitals, to markets, to opportunity. To the rest of the country. Brig (R) Khurshid Ahmad (Late) intiated this project with the help of ERRA - Earthquake Reconstruction & Rehabilitation Authority back in 2011 and it was completed it 2013
For Bradrie, it became the foundation for the work we now do far beyond the valley too.
