Bradrie Dispensary was established 16 years back in 2004 when there was a desperate need of medical assistance in Chanjah and nearby areas of the valley. People used to travel to Havalian or Abbotabad for major/minor medical assistances. Khurshid Ahmed (Late) constructed the dispensary by collecting donations from family & friends.
Dr. Ali Mujtabah was the first doctor to step in and volunteer to give services to the people of Chanjah. Every month doctor visits the area with an aim to eradicate any disease with exists in the valley. Specialized doctors were always along with him during the visits. Doctor’s monthly visits were made more possible with the assistance of Ms Perveen Khurshid.
From last 2 years, the visits are made by Dr. Shahid Wali. He is among the well known doctors of Abbotabad. Bradrie Dispensary is registered with Frontier health services KPK. First free health facility in a form of a medical camp was taken in 2006 March, until now each month different camps with professional doctors are taken to the village with an aim of facilitating the health of local people. Treatment of scabies, hepatitis, malaria and other diseases were done on regular basis to eradicate them from root level.
Each medicine is provided free to the patients at the dispensary. door to door medicines are provided to patients having high risk conditions
